(4)They set some gum for him. Then when Rabbit ran there, he got stuck in the gum. |

(5)Then those people, “What shall we do with him?” |
(6)"mônahipânihk ahpô okâminakasîskâhk ka-pîhciwêpinânaw?" |
(6)“Shall we throw him into a well or into the brambles?” |
(7)"êkwa êsa ka-kakwêcimânaw tânita kâ-isiwêpinâyahk." "tânima kostahki ôta ka-isiwêpinânaw." |
(7)“Let us ask him where we are to throw him. Whichever he fears, there we shall throw him.” |
(8)êkwa nâtêwak wâposwa; êkwa kakwêcimêwak. |
(8)Then they fetched rabbit and questioned him. |
(9)"tânita kê-isiwêpinitâhk, mônahipânihk ahpô okâminakasîskâhk?" |
(9)“Where shall we throw you, into a well or into the brambles?” |
(10)êkwa wâpos, "nikostên okâminakasîskâhk." |
(10)Then Rabbit, “I am afraid of the brambles.” |
(11)"êkota ka-isiwêpinânaw," itwêwak. |
(11)“There we shall throw him.” they said. |
(12)otihtinêwak wâposwa; okâminakasîskâhk isiwêpinêwak. êkwa miywêyihtam. |
(12)They took hold of Rabbit; they threw him into the brambles. He was glad of that. |

(13)“Into my own playground!” |

(15)"kitatamihinâwâw êsiwêpiniyêk!" itwêw wâpos. |
(15)“Very kind of you to throw me here!” said Rabbit. |
